So Many Reasons To Celebrate

1) So yesterday here in blog world, Sweet Little Things celebrated over 1,000 page views in the first two weeks!!! Honestly y'all, I couldn't be more surprised or excited.  It makes me so happy to hear all the positive feedback so thanks for the love :)

2) Yesterday was my friend Lauren's birthday! (So yet another excuse to make some tasty cupcakes).  I individually packaged her a cupcake and it ended up looking SO precious. This batch was chocolate cupcakes with fresh strawberry filling and teal icing.  Some of my favs so far.

Getting super cute with the boxing, right? 

Getting an individually boxed cupcake is perfect for birthdays or someone you love! The rest of the batch comes boxed separately.

HOKIE CUPCAKES!

So, to celebrate the 2-0 start to Hokie Football I decided to make some maroon and orange cupcakes! Last week I attempted (and failed) to make an orange cupcake with maroon icing. For any bakers out there- trying to make maroon icing is a really bad idea... However, this week I was able to make a maroon cupcake with orange icing and they turned out absolutely adorable.

So here it is, THE HOKIE CUPCAKE:
